Cancellation & Refunds
The cancellation timeline, refund eligibility and treatment of the 25% / 75% payment schedule.
Draft notice: This text is a working draft pending final legal review and approval by the owner.
1. Standard cancellation policy
A guest who cancels at least five full days before the scheduled arrival date receives a full refund of accommodation payments already collected for that booking. A guest who cancels fewer than five days before arrival, on the arrival date or after the stay has begun receives no refund.
The five-day threshold is measured from the accommodation's scheduled local check-in time. The cancellation is effective when the guest's clear cancellation request is received by Situation, s.r.o.
2. How the payment split works
The usual payment schedule is 25% at booking and 75% five days before arrival (T-5 days). If a qualifying cancellation is received before the five-day deadline, all amounts already collected, including the initial 25%, are refunded and the 75% remainder will not be collected.
At the five-day deadline, the booking enters the non-refundable period and the 75% remainder becomes due. If that payment has already been collected when a late cancellation is received, neither the initial payment nor the remainder is refundable.
3. Requesting a cancellation and receiving a refund
Send the cancellation request to info@vladoapartments.com and include the booking reference, lead guest name and stay dates. Situation, s.r.o. will confirm receipt and whether the cancellation qualifies for a refund.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and card processing times are controlled by the relevant provider and may delay when the credit appears. Situation, s.r.o. does not charge an additional refund administration fee.
4. Provider cancellation and mandatory rights
If Situation, s.r.o. cannot provide the confirmed accommodation for reasons within its control, it will offer a reasonable alternative or refund the affected accommodation payments. Events outside reasonable control will be handled fairly under applicable law and any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
